StartupJourney?

Funny…

I decided, just moments ago that I will yet again succumb to blogging but not waste precious hours days or even weeks to design the perfect blog or have a brainstorm session to come up with the perfect domain name.

I decided I will get a free wordpress blog and name it after the first thing that pops into my head that is even remotely related to startups or entrepreneurship. After all, that is what I envision this blog to become one day. My journal, my memoir, the place where I record thoughts and events pertaining to this journey of becoming an entrepreneur. A journey which so many have undertaken and succeeded and countless more failed.

Funny but the original name was supposed to be mystartupjourney, but that as you can imagine, was taken, then I tried startupjourney, that too was taken. I thought perhaps they would be filled with great articles about entrepreneurship and business management, maybe I could get inspired by them. So I visited one of the above mentioned wordpress blogs: There was one article on the entire blog: a 2 paragraph introductory post; A typical “Hello World” of sorts.

I hope this blog doesn’t end up as yet another “Hello World” blog.

I guess that depends on me doesn’t it.

I’m an MBA student. There that solves the mystery doesn’t it? The mystery of my entrepreneurial bug bite? but yes I am enrolled in one of the finest MBA programs in the world (no bias here, top 10 according to FT) and yes I do hope to one day start up my own business. Whether it will be another Me-Too business or a disruptive Fin-Tech is yet to be seen. I have been playing with a lot of ideas; some of which will no doubt be revealed by the choice of articles that I publish here and if this blog does pick some traction; who knows maybe we all can start a discussion

Definitely looking forward though …

Exciting times ahead.

PS: I don’t feel the need to reveal my identity right now (I’m shy that way ;). perhaps after enough practice and once this blog picks enough traction; I will reveal everything from my name to the school I attend to the company that I eventually hope to start. until then, call me S.
